Fusion Project
SpanWright are pleased to have a longstanding working relationship with Construction Division of the Northern Ireland Technology Centre at Queens University in Belfast. This relationship is over 10 years old and has recently developed in the form of an Intertrade Ireland “Fusion Project”.
The fusion project provides a structure for the transfer of knowledge between the two parties taking design and research knowledge to the front line in the company and bringing practical understanding back to the classroom.
Dr. Su Taylor of Queens University says: “The working relationship established with SpanWright has allowed focus by both parties on maximising use of both materials and design standards, focusing attention on the Eurocodes.”
